Our class blog....
Today we held our first family Friday since covid began. We loved inviting our parents into school to make their family tree painting. It is a pleasure to get to know our new families and welcome them to the family of St Kentigern's Catholic Primary school.
Today we have had a GO green day. This follows on from our virtual assembly where we learnt about us being 'the eyes of the world' and looking after the world, our common home for future generations. We made Green promises and we hope to make a difference.
School dinners are so yummy. Before we ate our meal together we said Grace to thank God for our food.
Bless us O God as we sit together. Bless the food we eat today. Bless the hands that make the food. Bless us O God. Amen.
We have had a wonderful start to the school year in Reception. We have made many new friends and the children are starting to settle. Our theme has been based around the story 'Here we are' By Oliver Jeffers. Already the children have impressed us with their excellent creations.
